About Me

Hola! I'm Ronak Patel

I'm a Senior Software Developer at CenterLine (Windsor) Limited, where I own the front end of a production React and TypeScript application and work across the .NET APIs and Azure DevOps pipelines behind it.

My day-to-day is component architecture, state management, complex multi-step forms, and making sure releases ship smoothly. I was promoted to Senior in 2024 after leading our front-end architecture and mentoring other developers through code review.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and a post-graduate certificate in Web Design and Development from Conestoga College. I care about clean, maintainable code and interfaces that are accessible to everyone.

Outside of work, you'll find me playing cricket or badminton, getting outdoors, or catching up on a good TV series. I'm always experimenting, always learning, and never bored.

I own the front end of production React and TypeScript apps: breaking large components into reusable, strongly typed pieces and setting conventions the whole team can build on.

Complex Forms & Workflows

Multi-step forms with dynamic validation, conditional logic, inactivity auto-save, and client-side PDF export, built so users never lose their work.

Full-Stack Development

I build and extend ASP.NET (C#) REST API endpoints alongside the UI, work with back-end developers on API design and data validation, and debug issues end to end.

Senior Software Developer Oct 2024 – Present

• Own front-end architecture for a data-driven React and TypeScript web app on a .NET backend, used daily company-wide.

• Led the decomposition of monolithic components into focused, reusable, strongly typed subcomponents, reducing duplicated logic and speeding up delivery of new features.

• Design and build multi-step form workflows with dynamic validation, conditional logic, and inactivity-based auto-save.

• Prevented data loss by fixing stale-closure bugs in auto-save and standardizing a promise-based save-then-act flow across key user actions.

• Engineered a client-side PDF export pipeline with html2canvas and jsPDF, eliminating recurring page-break defects.

• Leading a production app's upgrade from React 18 to React 19, updating dependencies and resolving breaking changes.

• Build and extend ASP.NET (C#) REST API endpoints and partner with back-end developers on API design and data validation.
